हेमंत सोरेन सरकार ने चुपके से कैबिनेट बैठक में राज्य में CO और BDO के पद को समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया है। अब राज्य के 107 प्रखंडों में CO या BDO में से कोई एक ही पदस्थापित रहेंगे।

पिछ्ले साल जमीन म्यूटेशन के लगभग 67 हजार आवेदन लंबित थे। यदि CO अब BDO का भी प्रभार संभालने लगे तो जमीन से जुड़े मामलों को कौन निष्पादित करेगा? जब BDO जमीन से जुड़े मामले देखेंगे तो ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में विकास योजनाओं और पंचायतों के क्रियान्वयन की मॉनिटरिंग कौन करेगा?

वित्त विभाग के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक राज्य में वर्ष 2022 में कुल स्वीकृत पद 5.33 लाख थे। वर्ष 2023 में यह घटकर 4.66 लाख हो गए। वहीं 2024 के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक यह संख्या घटकर 3.27 लाख पर पहुंच गई।

इस वर्ष बजट सत्र के दौरान राज्य सरकार ने विधानसभा में स्वीकार किया कि 3.51 लाख स्वीकृत पदों में से 1.64 लाख पद खाली हैं। जब राज्य में इतने बड़े पैमाने पर पद खाली हैं, तो उन्हें भरने की बजाय पदों को विलोपित करने का क्या औचित्य है?

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

When most people plan a holiday in India, the usual suspects come up: Goa, Himachal, Rajasthan.

Jharkhand rarely features in that conversation.

I plead guilty of that too.

And then I bumped into these striking photos posted by @IndiaAesthetica about Meghahatuburu, a hill station in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, renowned as the "Hill of Clouds" due to its high altitude.

Sitting 4,300 feet above sea level in the heart of the Saranda forest of 700 hills, it offers a sunset point, forest waterfalls, and a landscape that has remained largely untouched.

Bare-bones tourist infrastructure. Very few resorts, many guesthouses.

I did some more checking about Jharkhand and found it has Netarhat’s famous sunrises, Betla National Park, the sacred Jyotirlinga at Deoghar, the waterfalls around Ranchi, and the ancient Saranda forest itself.

Somehow, it still gets overlooked.

Jharkhand has much to offer the discerning traveller. It simply hasn’t shouted about it.

जब बिहार झारखंड 2000 से पहले एक साथ था तो बिहार के रेवन्यू में झारखंड क्षेत्र की हिस्सेदारी 87 % थी ।बिहार सरकार को जितनी भी कमाई होती थी उसमे से मात्र 13 % ही रेवन्यू उत्तरी बिहार से आता था बाकि के 87 % का रेवन्यू हमारे झारखंड के क्षेत्र से आता था । क्योंकि जितनी भी खनिज संसाधन , बड़े उद्योग थे इसी क्षेत्र में थे । बिहार जब अलग हुआ तो झारखंड की तुलना में बहुत ग़रीब था । मगर सोच कर देखिए नीतीश कुमार जैसे दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व ,ईमानदार मुख्यमन्त्री के कार्यों से आज बिहार का बजट साढ़े तीन लाख करोड़ से ज़्यादा है और झारखंड का बजट डेढ़ लाख करोड़ पर ही अटका है। ख़ुद सोचिए झारखंड कितना पीछे है । इतने खनिज , इतने बड़े उद्योग होने के बावजूद यहाँ नेता लूटने के मक़सद से राजनीति करते है ।@narendramodi @HemantSorenJMM @yourBabulal @amarbauri @dasraghubar @ShahiPratap
