What is the SUI Stack? @SuiNetwork
Mysten Labs is quitely building the most advanced stack of open source software on top of their L1 which collaboratively will offer developers and enterprises the best of breed web 3 stack to integrate their businesses into a Agentic, tokenized, cross-chain asset and stable coin ecosystem. The stack is composed of:
Sui blockchain (Execution & Coordination Layer)
The core L1 blockchain itself - handles onchain programs (in the Move programming language), asset ownership, shared state, high-throughput parallel transactions, and overall network coordination.
Walrus (Trusted Data Layer / Decentralized Storage)
Fast, verifiable, blob-like storage for large files, datasets, AI models, media, logs content-addressed with cryptographic proofs. Enables true data ownership without centralized providers (e.g., AWS/S3 equivalents but decentralized and verifiable on-chain).
Seal (Data Security & Permissions Layer)
Cryptographic access control and permissioning system. Lets developers enforce fine-grained rules on who can read/write data essential for private/encrypted apps, compliance, and secure sharing.
Nautilus (Verifiable Off-chain Compute)
Secure, confidential computation that happens off-chain but is provably correct and verifiable on-chain (zero-knowledge style proofs). Critical for heavy AI/ML workloads, private calculations, or anything too expensive for on-chain execution.
DeepBook (Liquidity & Trading Layer)
Native on-chain Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) for high-frequency, low-latency DeFi trading provides deep, efficient liquidity directly integrated with the chain.
SuiNS - Decentralized naming/identity (human-readable addresses).
zkLogin, sponsored transactions, passkeys for seamless Web2-like onboarding (no seed phrases needed for many users).
IMO: This stack makes Ethereum L2s redundant and Ethereum L1 unusable. Ethereum HODLers waiting till 2029 for the roadmap to rebuild what SUI has already built will be late. $ETH holders, start allocating to $SUI now at the lows.
I wouldn’t be working on Sui if I didn’t deeply believe in the long term crypto vision… and in the particular folks who walked away from Libra and Facebook to build it. Proud of my team ❤️ 🦾
You guys are NOT ready for this.
Canary Funds launched SUIS, the first U.S. spot Sui ETF on Nasdaq.
Regulated exposure to SUI is now LIVE.
THAT'S what makes a chain AMAZING.
Verifiable confidential compute is a major component in the "private party" mechanism that some enterprise use cases require. Sui enables it without trust assumptions, which significantly improves upon usability.
It's part of Sui integrated stack. No need for another blockchain
