Former ‘South Park’ writer Toby Morton has created a website to expose information about Cornell University’s administration in response to the group sexual assault case:
“Accountability should not disappear when the headlines do. And we all know this headline will disappear.”
All of these rich pop stars and their boring ass irrelevant speeches. Not a single one of them used their voice for the people 2nite. Not a Free Palestine. Not a Fuck Ice. Not a Fuck the Cornell 7 Rapists. Register to Vote?! Nothing!! Brick bitches their music & performances all sucked full shade!!!
Kudos to the student journalists at The Cornell Daily Sun.
This is why journalism matters, at all levels. Keep shining a light on the darkest corners of power.
The man who sent “free p*ssy” to the group chat was on a pre-med track. He was going to be a doctor when he sees half the human race as glorified fleshlights.
And if that single fact doesn’t highlight for you how violence against women becomes a systemic societal issue, I don’t know what to tell you.
You don’t want to pursue your creative dreams but there are descendants of slave owners and chemical weapons manufacturers who are reggaeton DJs in London.
I fucking love people who become more themselves with age. Stranger taste. Clearer boundaries. Louder laugh. Less interest in impressing random people. Watching somebody slowly stop auditioning for the world is fucking beautiful.
This is the exact opposite of what Mamdani ran on.
He promised to arrest Netanyahu. Now Netanyahu is escorted to the UN by his NYPD while that same NYPD arrests people protesting him, including politicians endorsed by Mamdani.
And we’re supposed to treat their arrests as resistance without asking the obvious question: why is Mamdani’s NYPD arresting them in the first place? What are they doing to hold him accountable for that publicly?
Mamdani chose to keep Jessica Tisch. If his administration opposes these arrests, he has power over NYPD policy and leadership. Demand that he use it.
Instead, people keep peddling this fiction that Mamdani is powerless and his hands are tied. If his own supporters preemptively excuse him from using the powers he does have, what incentive is there to fight to fulfill the promise they elected him on?
Meanwhile the pro-Israel establishment will continue demanding concession after concession.
Why would any elected official take protest movements or their demands seriously if even when their preferred candidate takes power, they refuse to pressure him to use it?
We went from “arrest Netanyahu” to arresting the people protesting Netanyahu.
I genuinely need people to understand what they are being asked to normalize here.
Mamdani campaigned on arresting Netanyahu.
Today Netanyahu came to NYC, received massive police protection, and anti-genocide protesters were arrested by the NYPD.
