@justadon88 Or skip the fundraising push and just take out Dons Trust membership only £25 a year/£10 for over 60s, and you get a say in club matters. “Your voice will be heard”. Tempting!
"The incinerator is almost finished but the restoration plans have fallen way behind. Wildlife has collapsed and there is next to no public access to enjoy this vast area of open space at the heart of the Wandle Valley Regional Park" Please sign & RT! https://t.co/Evo80lxuIX
@quickerbybike @kt2_me@RBKIndependents@JonTolleyTweets@TheGreenParty@livingstreets It’s not “motorists” who won, it’s people who don’t have drives! Why should people who have driveways be allowed to drive polluting vehicles, and not those without? Tax the vehicle based on its emissions, not where it is parked! This policy was wholly unfair.
@MarkGale@WimbledonNews@Merton_Council Wouldn't mind if these 🤡 🤡 actually did their job properly, but when councillors clearly aren't up to the job, it is residents who lose out. People like @MarkGale should be on council payroll for the time and effort they put into improving our borough
Huge clouds of dust in Durnsford Road, Plough Lane, Haydons Road, Gap Road in dry weather when lorries go past at rate of several HGVs every minute. Air quality is appalling, as latest monitoring stats show 😷
@HaydonsNorth@Merton_Council It’s great it’s going to scrutiny but I wouldn’t hold my breath. If you’ve watched any of those scrutiny meetings, the outcomes are as bad as full council meetings but not as dramatic. They’re gently dusted under a myriad of counter-motions that dissolve the issue.
Pressure from:
😬 demanding residents,
💥 admitted failures with @Merton_Council report-it website &
🤦♂️the utter failure of @VeoliaUK to provide an acceptable service,
the council is planning to "unblock" the @fixmystreet app to report the issues on a mobile📱#muckymerton
@Merton_Council@Siobhain_MP Almost two weeks later and still no collection. The whole area smell and now spotting rodents all over. Don't know how this is being allowed to happened. Multiple calls from most residents still isn't enough. What a mess!
As we tweet development proposals for our area from @Merton_Council's own development company Merantun are being discussed behind closed doors by @Merton_Council's Design Review Panel - to coin a phrase "nothing about us, without us, is for us"
Why are @Merton_Council streets so dirty?
Why doesnt @VeoliaUK deliver on so many contractual requirements?
Why is there no accountability?
Here may be some answers...
What are your thoughts?
