Can someone please explain the environmental logic here?
Healthy trees that provide shade, oxygen and habitat disappear
Cut branches remained piled on the road side for weeks
How exactly is this helping the environment, the ecosystem or even the appearance of the street??
Same road, Different reality
Same law, Different outcome
One side - peace, order, law enforcement
Other - autos, congestion, daily inconvenience.
A reminder : Some addresses = special privileges i.e. is enough influence for rules to bend around you.
An innovative approach to waste management - leave it where everyone can admire it.
This is the junction of Talmiki Road and Sharda Road, for anyone wanting to take selfies - you’re welcome!

Not only is this a safety risk but the stored covers are also obstructing sections of the footpath, forcing pedestrians to step onto the road. This defeats the very purpose of a having a safe walkway.
Despite the issue being highlighted earlier, several drain & manhole covers continue to lie unattended & uninstalled on Saraswati road. At the same time multiple manholes remain open & others have damaged covers that clearly require replacement. A single misstep = serious injury

It’s the corner for PNB Bank, Santacruz West branch on Saraswati Road.
A wonderful 'Clean up your locality' initiative by SWAT ALM this morning saw enthusiastic participation from young and old area residents. Awareness was also created by silent placard protests about traffic chaos caused due to reckless double parking, noise havoc caused by builders and nuisance caused by newly mushrooming restaurants and bars in the area
