The Patient Safety Commissioner has launched a public consultation on a draft of "seven principles of better patient safety" They seem very sensible and it's hard to disagree with any of them. The Clinical Human Factors Group have responded to the consultation supporting the principles while stressing the importance of human factors science and systems thinking to ensure they don't just remain as principles but become part of the way work is done and the way care is delivered.

Part of any good #AI strategy is to ensure we can utilise high quality computable data at scale on which #AI models are trained on. This is not possible without having standards in data formats. It time to change this with adopting #openEHR clinical models @openEHR @ukpenguin
