The CRYOSTAT-2 RCT examined if early/empirical high-dose cryoprecipitate improved survival in trauma patients. Patients received standard treatment PLUS an additional 6 grams of cryo. Overall, no mortality benefit was seen with the addition of this therapy. #EMRx#TwitterRx
