We urge the BBC to reconsider their cancellation of @bbcradio4's Short Cuts. It is irreplaceable, with a dedicated audience, an unmatched cultural impact with a team that nurtures talent and stories with a rare sensibility and care.

As an international collective, we're able to be in many places at the same time... Today, we presented at the 7th Conference on Acoustic Ecology in Athens AND attended the launch of 'Bodies of Sound: Becoming a Feminist Ear', to which we have contributed a text, in London!

Tomorrow night - we'll be @lethabygallery on invitation of SOUNDING: collective. Come join for a free evening of talks and performances: https://t.co/vblAOHOhUZ

Another great workshop constructing homemade radios! Today, for the lovely folk at @_multitrack 📻

[Shortwave Collective @SWaveCollective]

We had so much fun working with The Hundred Club ⁦@TACO_errr⁩ today! 14 x 5-11 year olds and their adults made radio transmitters and went hunting for signals hidden around Thamesmead. Hoping we get a mention in their newspaper ‘WAAAH!’ this month…

Becoming diode 📻

Today we ran a workshop @TACO_errr in Thamesmead for artists taking part in Syllabus (@WysingArtsCentr). Antennas of different lengths picked up Radio 4 and 5 Live, touching the coil mixed between the 2 stations, and we grounded our radios in the nearby lake.

We had a great day constructing DIY radio receivers at XMTR AUDIO ARTS festival in St Leonards-on-Sea (UK) today! Many hands holding the antenna = stronger signal. 📻
