One in five people in Los Angeles County is experiencing food insecurity. You probably know somebody who goes to @LAFoodBank. It hits differently when you realize a friend or neighbor could pick up one of the 1,675 boxes Team BizFed helped pack today.

Small business owners — @deemyers wants to hear from you! She knows homegrown mom-and-pop shops can "become bigger businesses, which then become the kind of businesses that change the world.” You’re the spine of California’s economy.

BizFed is calling again for @kdeleon to resign. The drama stemming from his presence at two recent council meetings and a community event is a disgrace, a distraction, and a disservice to Angelenos.
"He must resign now so we can rebuild public trust and restore civic function."
Daily Reminder: Kevin de Leon & Gil Cedillo remain on the L.A. City Council & are taking home their full salaries from taxpayers.
Neither are currently attending any council meetings or voting on behalf of their constituents. Both refuse to resign.
“You have proven yourself completely unfit for office and we’re calling on you to step down now.”
BizFed’s @swiltfong addressed @kdeleon and @cmgilcedillo directly at today’s @LACityCouncil meeting. Thanks for amplifying the business community’s calls for accountability, Sarah.
Congratulations to the freshman class of ‘22! We’re thrilled to convene hundreds of business leaders to recognize all state, county, and city officials representing LA County residents who were elected between August 2021 and July 2022.

@NickQuient It’s encouraging to read that it’s becoming less and less of a desire amoung seminary students. Large church attendance and a big following is the certainly the wrong focus.
