Totally agree. For some reason God has made is so that there is constant progress in the world, so the truth unfolds over time rather than being manifest all at once.
Palestinians have always had the right to defend themselves against violence with violence. So do the Lebanese. So do any people facing aggression, land theft, colonialism, annihilation.
It’s heartening to see this basic right to resist being discussed so openly in progressive spaces. But why did it take until 2026? And why is it still so controversial?
I’m encouraged by how much the conversation has shifted, but still sad about how long it’s taking.
A Humanitarian Tragedy in Gaza: Epidemics Strike Newborns
In a heartbreaking scene, 20-day-old infant Osama Sahloul is battling complications from chickenpox.
This is not an isolated case; the Gaza Strip is witnessing a rapid outbreak of diseases among children in displacement camps. This crisis is fueled by extreme overcrowding, the total collapse of water and sanitation services, and a critical shortage of medicines and vaccines.
Epidemics are now threatening the most vulnerable, even those who have just entered the world amidst conditions lacking the most basic necessities for survival.
Hey everyone,
Maybe you noticed i haven’t been posting or replying much lately because my phone is very bad recently. It overheats constantly, barely charges past 50%, and is so laggy it’s almost unusable.
I am struggling to stay in touch or reach out for help with my family. I’m genuinely scared it will shut down completely before I can get more support.
I am asking you help me raise £1,000 to repair or replace it. If you can help in any way or share my campaign, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you.

Israel is maniacally bombing Palestinians in tattered tents again tonight. Every. Single. Day. Not a single shot from Hamas for more than 10 months & Israel has killed more than a thousand Palestinians since — including more than 200 children.
Opposing violence even against Israeli soldiers is highly racist. It's like opposing violence against Nazis SS soldiers during the Nazi Holocaust. Was it also wrong for the Allies to go to war against (do violence against) Nazi SS soldiers?
I’m sorry this is beyond disingenuous. You’re not for nonviolence! You’ve repeatedly say you support Israel’s right to “go after Hamas” with bombs and F35s. This is not a principled stance against violence as such, it’s a selective and self serving stance against some violence.
What Scahill didn't say is that what endangers the civilians of Israel is Israel's aggression, which an iron dome makes more likely to occur. Without an iron dome there would be no be no genocide and therefore no retaliation to it.
For someone living with chronic illness, missing medication isn't minor - it can become life-threatening.
In Gaza, months of displacement, destroyed healthcare infrastructure, and severe shortages have made consistent treatment nearly impossible. That's why The Sameer Project's Chronic Disease Campaign is so important. We don't just provide a one-time consultation, we work to ensure patients can continue the treatment they depend on to survive.
On July 1, our medical team held a chronic disease Mobile Medical Day in Al-Deira Camp at Al-Karama Towers, treating more than 110 patients.
Each medical day costs approximately $1,500 to operate, covering medical staff, medications, and essential supplies. To continue reaching camps with large numbers of patients over the next month, we urgently need $20,000.
Patients need their medications every month, not just once. Your support allows us to keep returning to these communities, preventing complications, reducing suffering, and ensuring vulnerable patients are not left without care.
Support our Medical Campaign.
Never forget when an Israeli settler
literally dragged the body of a lifeless
child with a rope behind his golf court.
He can even be seen touching the body later.
This is my son, Muhammad. He is a very young and innocent child, and he is weak due to hunger and lack of food. I hope that you, kind and compassionate people, will donate to him. 😭😔🍉🙏🇵🇸

This is Gaza, just minutes ago—while the world continues to talk about de-escalation.
Relentless strikes. Mass destruction. Lives being lost. An ongoing siege.
The violence has not stopped.
#Gaza
There are no limits to this crime.
Just moments ago, west of Nuseirat, a civilian vehicle was targeted by a drone. The first missile struck the car, but its passengers survived. One of them got out and ran east, desperately searching for safety. A second missile chased him down and ended his life.
Another fled toward the sea, only to be met by a third missile waiting for him.
Then, when people approached the scene to help or simply check on the victims, they too were targeted by a fourth missile.
A short story from Gaza—one that speaks volumes.
The child Abdullah cries every day from the pain of his illness, and Israel has not allowed him to leave Gaza to receive treatment abroad.
No one answered the child's cries
🚨‼️ URGENT:
If you cannot help secure the release of Palestinian prisoners, then please do not remain silent.
Speak up. Share their stories. Raise awareness. Do something. Every voice matters.
