@TwoSarahJ @TheArtificer4 Water flows down hill. Always. The ohio does lead to the Mississippi and eventually the gulf. It won’t get into other tributaries because that is upstream. While no pollution is ideal the Mississippi is HUGE and the chemicals that flow that far are greatly diluted.
@WomanInCanna @TheArtificer4 This guy is not an ecologist or hydrologist. Lake Erie is fine and safe from this crash. The lake and the ohio are completely different watersheds. The ohio flows into the Mississippi. Lake Erie often gets algae blooms in the west from Indiana farm runoff.
@RVE3RD @4C3L0RD@SmallGov4All @ShimminyKricket I doubt that big time. The system of American slavery is again, unique to America. Minimizing the horrors of slavery and the aftermath in America because others had it worse is utterly abhorrent.
@RVE3RD @4C3L0RD@SmallGov4All @ShimminyKricket You simply can not talk about the black experience in America and not bring up slavery. Intersectionistm is important to see the full picture. Read up on black history and you’ll find your answer
@RVE3RD @4C3L0RD@SmallGov4All @ShimminyKricket American slavery is unique to America… being an immigrant in America comes with challenges but being black in America offers specifically unique challenges due to policies post slavery like segregation and Jim Crow. We are still experiencing the ripple effects of those policies
@RVE3RD @4C3L0RD@SmallGov4All @ShimminyKricket Yes it is. The fact that the institution of slavery existed is the exact reason. The scars of slavery still exist today and the ramifications of that system still specifically affect black Americans’ ability to grow generational wealth
