The reality is that your argument is built on a lack of history and a very ignorant use of science. You want to claim the Creator is not all-knowing, but instead of you prove that, you showed you do not understand how a complete system works.

An all-knowing God provides a framework of permission for social stability and then gives the intellect to know when to branch out for physical health benefits. It is a system of perfect balance.

But let me first address the lies you told about the marriage of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to Zainab bint Jash.

You claim the Prophet needed a "justification" to marry his cousin. Funny enough, your take shows you haven't done your homework. So, let me educate you.

Cousin marriage was already standard and perfectly legal in the 7th-century Arabian society. So, there was no need for justification for something everyone was already doing. Also, there was no taboo to break there.

The real issue was the status of an adopted son. In those days, people treated adopted children as biological ones, meaning you could not marry their ex-wives.

The marriage to Zainab was a direct command from Allah to break that man-made rule and establish that adoption does not change your bloodline.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was hesitant because he knew people like you would talk, however, the revelation came to prove that what Allah allows is higher than what culture forbids.

It was about legal reform, not personal desire. Therefor, to twist it into anything else is just being historically illiterate.

Again, people like you love to talk about the "science". Before you made mention of it, I already did. But as usual, you are always biased. Like I said earlier, a woman having a child in her late 30s or 40s carries the same risk as perpetual first cousin marriage.

Why are you not out there calling for a ban on older mothers? You won't do that because it fits your modern lifestyle. You are okay with risk when it is a "personal choice" but call it a "divine failure" when it is a religious permission.

Islam is built on moderation. This is why when cousin marriage became perpetual in Banu Al-Sa’ib, Umar told them to marry farther away. This is what the Al-knowing does. Mind you, both are established in Islam.

This is why I say: Would you rather remain ignorant or follow a law which gives you a divine permission to do something and at the same time set limits to it when people abuse it?

This is something you fail to know. It is the same religion that gave both the limit which science has confirmed and the permission for social stability.

Yours has nothing established because it is an attache. Ours is a foundation that holds the house, and yours is just a piece of decoration that falls off when things get hard. You are following a lifestyle that has no original source.

For us, this is about trusting the wisdom of the Creator over any human theory. He knows our makeup and our social needs better than we do. He provided a wide circle for us to build families, and we do not have the right to lock a door that He left wide open.

In the Quran, Allah was very specific about the boundaries of marriage. Since cousins are not on the list of forbidden relatives, they remain lawful. This is a matter of following a divine blueprint that prioritizes the stability of the home over shifting social trends. We submit to the limit He set because He is the one who designed the family structure.

Even if we look beyond the Book, history shows that this practice was common across almost every major civilization for centuries. From European royalty to the families of figures such Charles Darwin and Albert Einstein, marrying within the extended family was a way to maintain trust and keep resources within a supportive network.

Let me also point to the double standard of people who attack Islam. They think it is a guaranteed disaster for the children. However, the actual data shows the risk of birth defects only jumps from about 3% in the general population to maybe 6% for first cousins.

To put that in perspective, a woman having a child in her late 30s or early 40s faces a similar jump in risk, yet no one is out there trying to make it illegal or calling it "unscientific" when she decides to start a family. It is a massive double standard.

However, we also have to understand that being allowed to do something is not the same as being told you have to do it every time. This is where the sharp mind of Umar Ibn Khattab comes in.

He noticed a family (Al-Sa'ib) that was becoming physically weak and small because they only married among their own relatives for generations.

He gave them the famous advice where he said:

اغتربوا لا تضووا
which means to marry far away so you do not produce weak children.

He understood that while the law gives you the green light, repeating it as a total habit can lead to what he saw as a wasting away of the bloodline.

So we have a perfect balance. We have the divine permission for flexibility when we need it, but we also have the guidance to mix our blood with others for the sake of a stronger and healthier generation.

They could barely bring themselves to say her name and when they did used the dog whistle “Hezbollah aligned” in order to dehumanise Amal and justify her killing by I$rael.

Amal Khalil was a friend to me and many others having worked in the field since the 2006 war. What she did was unique, reporting from the south and raising the voices of the people there who are subjected to brutal treatment and attacks from I$rael.

Amal had herself received numerous death threats, some warning her to leave and if she didn’t her head would be removed from her shoulders. It’s a testament to her that she defied those threats and up until the end continued to expose I$raeli war comes.

She was a brave and courageous journalist, a daughter of the south and her mic and her pen was a tribune of the people. This is what made her so dangerous, with I$rael fearing a camera and a pen more than a Hezb0llah fighter.

Her body wasn’t “found under the rubble” as though it had been mysteriously placed there. I$rael targeted a car in front of her, when she sheltered in a building it was struck collapsing it, then the emergency operations were delayed for at least 7 hours as ambulances and civil defence workers were fired on.

This was a deliberate assassination and a war crime. But try as they might they will never stop journalists here from reporting the truth.
