@GoogleDeepMind when I click on the link, I land on the questionnaire I’ve already completed when joining the waitlist … Anyone else having issues accessing #geminidiffusion demo?
@ai_for_success Not feeling the AGI or any EQ/creative improvements I see others mention 🫠
Tested on writing marketing content and the results are kinda underwhelming
Would love to hear from other high-taste testers from the industry!
@Brehove@benhylak It’s also a key tool in marketing texts where details can make or break the copy
LLMs still struggle to produce really good & nuanced marketing copy (esp. without extensive guidance, iteration & tweaking from an expert)
So I’m glad to see more ppl testing LLMs for writing ☺️
@emollick 👏 Dealing with this daily.
The AI (over)hype is quite damaging in this regard, with “gurus” promising companies that AI can easily replace their writers/copywriters/translators.
Would love to see more exploration and evaluation of LLMs for these specific areas!
@emollick If not the biggest besides coding.
Writers are translators are being replaced by technology en masse and often not even by good alternatives 🫣
@mikeykangas@lexfridman Impressive, only a stylistic tweak and a wrong punctuation
Hm, might be because it’s religious text, which I assume has been mostly grammatically accurate in training data.
My focus were marketing texts.
Will def go into more rigorous testing. Thanks for sharing!
@mikeykangas@lexfridman Curious: how satisfied were you?
Because translating into Slovenian is giving me headaches 😖
Our language suffers from apparent lack of quality training data …
Claude or Gemini come closest, but DeepL or Google Translate are often still better 🫠
