This is what a 3D character looks like before Claude starts deleting half the workflow.
The polished face is only the surface. Underneath it is a facial rig controlling the eyes, lips, cheeks and dozens of expressions without regenerating a different person every frame.
A year from now, much more of this process will begin as a conversation. Claude can inspect the open Blender scene, write and run Python, apply changes across objects and help build or test the systems surrounding the character instead of making an artist repeat every technical step manually.
It still will not decide exactly how fear should pull one side of the mouth, or why one expression feels alive while another looks like a possessed doll.
But AI video is still fighting to keep the same face alive for 15 seconds. A rigged 3D character already has consistency built in, and Claude is turning the rest of the production process into something one artist can direct like a small studio.
