@moby_dickhead@fakeariellejane this tweet kinda sucks, a) it is a very affordable way to introduce kids to MANY different mediums of art c) having expensive things doesn't make someone a 'better' artist b) this set also probably inspired so many artists and/or just let people be creative c)it was rad to carry
Been in NYC this week vibes unreal, I am now a knicks fan (sorry raptors love you forever) also absolutely wasted at bottomless brunch. I love mamdanistan
@e_sukkubica@KlRBYREED It can actually be argued that the US doesn’t have socialites- it is a very european or british thing, most of your nobility/ oligarchy class would be considered socialites!
We’ve come so far in the last 54 years, but one thing hasn’t changed: Our home looks gorgeous from space! The left view is from the Apollo 17 crew in 1972 and the right was captured yesterday by the Artemis II crew.
cuban doctors told me they have to sew up patients mid surgery when the generators run out of gas but maga on here are too busy lying about the ppl that went out to cuba w aid to turn everything into a distractive spectacle. pure maga propaganda. you’re cattle if you fall for it.
Florence Pugh was originally set to star in Sofia Coppola’s ‘CUSTOM OF THE COUNTRY’ series as a woman on a quest to infiltrate Gilded Age society.
However, Apple, which initially greenlit the show, deemed it too expensive to produce.
Sydney Sweeney will now star in a film adaptation of the novel directed by Josie Rourke.
You can eat this, go skate around on the longest skating rink in the world, and then wrap the evening catching art house cinema at one of the finest rep theatres in the country, and folks from “Markham” will look you in the eyes and say there’s nothing to do in Ottawa.
@johnnycakes91 I feel like I have total skin in this game - I grew up in Ottawa, lived in toronto for the past 12 years, work in York Region (close to richmond hill) and i will say I am planning on moving back to Ottawa! Yes it is a government town but it is so beautiful- and does winter well!
Thanks for sharing the news!
We’re going to lower the fare cap to 40 rides. We’re phasing it in, starting at current monthly pass rates.
At minimum, not having to pay for a monthly pass upfront will take pressure off your 1st of the month expenses, like rent.
@FreeTown30 This is so dumb, because going to and from work is only one aspect?? what about weekends?? If you take transit twice a day all month that is 62 rides… and most ppl do leave their house atleast once a day???
It’s still shocking to me how much space we devote to on street parking when traffic is such a huge frustration in our city.
Really is just a complete waste of valuable space.
