This week, students at Pacific Elementary School were able to enjoy “A Crown for Corina” by Laekan Zea Kemp and add the book to their at-home libraries!

This is 1 of 5 diverse books going home with students this summer thanks to funding from the Sacramento Literacy Foundation.

Through our Summer Matters reading project, the Center is sending home 5 grade-level books to build students at-home libraries. Thank you to our funder, Sacramento Literacy Foundation for making this all possible!
