Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat felicitated District Collectors whose districts and blocks achieved saturation in three or more Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh organised at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Reiterating the philosophy of “No citizen left behind”, Hon’ble Chief Minister applauded the vision of the Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme, describing the young District Magistrates as the driving force behind Viksit Bharat and Viksit Gujarat 2047.

Hon’ble Speaker of Gujarat Vidhan Sabha, Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary, noted how the Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme has reached India’s underserved regions, with its KPIs now widely adopted across the State.

Shri Rohit Kumar, Additional Secretary and Mission Director, Aspirational Districts Programme / Aspirational Blocks Programme, NITI Aayog, lauded the progress achieved under ADP/ABP in Gujarat and the programme evolving into a Jan Andolan. Appreciating the noticeable progress of Gujarat he congratulated the DM/DCs, District and Block Officers and frontline workers for making Gujarat a model for other States to emulate.

✨ The Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh in Gujarat was a celebration of progress, performance and partnership—showcasing how collaborative governance and people-centric planning are shaping the roadmap to Viksit Bharat.

આજે વિશ્વ પ્રવાસન દિવસના અવસરે ગુજરાત માટે ઘણા આનંદ અને ગૌરવના સમાચાર છે. ભારત સરકારના પર્યટન મંત્રાલય દ્વારા આયોજિત શ્રેષ્ઠ ગ્રામીણ પર્યટન સ્પર્ધામાં આપણા છોટાઉદેપુર જિલ્લાના ક્વાંટ તાલુકાના હાફેશ્વરને હેરિટેજ કેટેગરીમાં ‘સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ પર્યટન ગામ 2024’ નો એવોર્ડ પ્રાપ્ત થયો છે.

હાફેશ્વર એ ગુજરાત, મધ્યપ્રદેશ અને મહારાષ્ટ્રની સરહદે આવેલું એક એવું સ્થળ છે જ્યાંથી માઁ નર્મદા ગુજરાતમાં પ્રવેશ કરે છે. સતપૂડા અને વિંધ્યાચલની ગિરિમાળાઓની વચ્ચેથી પસાર થતી નર્મદા નદીની ધારા થકી હાફેશ્વરને જાણે પ્રકૃતિએ ચારેકોર સૌંદર્યથી મઢી દીધું છે.

અહીંનું હાફેશ્વર મહાદેવનું મંદિર અનેક શ્રદ્ધાળુઓનું આસ્થાકેન્દ્ર છે. હાફેશ્વર સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટીથી પણ ઘણું નજીક છે.

હાફેશ્વરને પ્રવાસન સ્થળ તરીકે વિકસાવવાની કામગીરી રાજ્ય સરકારે હાથ ધરી છે. જેમાં વોટર જેટી, નર્મદા ઘાટ, કેફેટેરિયા, ગાર્ડન, વોક-વે જેવી વિવિધ સુવિધાઓનું નિર્માણ કરવામાં આવનાર છે.

અહીંની આદિવાસી સંસ્કૃતિ પણ ખૂબ સમૃદ્ધ છે. સ્થાનિકો દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવતી જાતજાતની પરંપરાગત ચીજવસ્તુઓ, પરંપરાઓ, મેળાઓ વગેરેથી હાફેશ્વર પ્રવાસનની દ્રષ્ટિએ ખૂબ રમણીય સ્થળ બનીને ઉભરી આવ્યું છે.
