Hey @Polymaker_3D. I just setup my new PolyDryer that I was hoping could sit in the same room I work in, but it is making a really piercing high pitched noise that's quite unpleasant to be close to. Is this normal?

@AaronBastani Surely companies would only consider building/relocating here if they were confident that tariff imbalance was likely to be long term? And I’m not sure anyone can have such confidence.
@yourcolchester Hi. https://t.co/IU3KYx5q9y is useful, but is there any chance you could clarify what is/isn't suitable from the standard 1-7 plastic recycling codes please?
@wastingmytime59@tomhfh@AnnabelDenham1 I see some of what you're saying, but 'benefit' term isn't "all of a sudden" though. It was created as such in 1940's and has been confirmed as such multiple times since by both main parties.
People only recently seem aware/unhappy about this for some reason though.
@wastingmytime59@tomhfh@AnnabelDenham1 I’m retiring later this year and when I eventually get my state pension I’m entirely comfortable with it being a benefit.
I think the only real reason that people aren’t is due to how they been conditioned to see recipients of other benefits.
hey @lenovo. I'm researching a laptop and confused because there are two models on UK site with exactly identical specs but £100 difference. Can you clarify please?

@MapleHornet@MartinSLewis I’d love everyone to be in the sort of relationship where there’s no repercussions from revealing they voted a certain way but that’s sadly not reality.
@jake1488x@K1tt3n@therealjayber@ltilbu @LikeZiti34326 @johndory1914 UK resident here. I’m going to the doctors tomorrow. At our surgery you just turn up in the morning and they’ll see you first come first served. Normally around 30m wait.
For people who want appointments there’s the afternoon, but I see no point.
@HmsReaper@Lben@ShipStars3PL@BlakeTOliver I have a friend who’s forced to commute (expensive & time consuming) to the office 2 days a week and sit with people in other teams and do the same stuff he does from home. Massive clock watcher in the office, but happy to work a bit later to finish stuff at home.
@agilepredict@tiswas Are wholesale prices set at a granularity of one hour? If so, would be interesting to know how Octopus turn that into 30m slots. You’d think each “in between” slot would just be an average of its neighbours, but they’re frequently little spikes/dips. Any idea why?
@clarity_of68250@teslaenergy Depends on tariff obviously. On Octopus Go for instance, you’d be able to charge it at 8p/kWh. If you were on Agile, sometimes better than that, and very occasionally free or even get paid to charge.
@BlondeNerd@PlayStation I have extra fast & slow storage for both my PS5 and XsX. After any power outage my PS5 gives me that grief individually for internal, NVME and external storage. My Xbox just somehow deals with it without complaint.
