@jayjazz3 I don't see the depth in the second round for it to be worth trading one of them, unless there's someone there you'd really like? I'd rather just stack players that have some known NBA strengths and use them as needed.
@FootFour4076@joedart18@NotOnGTA I'm really not concerned about his on-off numbers when the majority of his minutes were with Filipowski at Center. He played a lot of minutes on a team working very hard to lose. His TS% isn't great, but it's just below VJ and Tre and above guys like Fleming and Clifford
@ArtTakesNote The lack of rim pressure scares me, AJs shooting scares me, Boozers lateral movement scares me, I'm ready for summer league to give me highlights to be excited about
@Tjonesonthenba I actually like him a lot too. He's a great shooter, plays hard on defense, knows his role well. Sometimes he gets a little trigger happy but I think he'd tone it down when playing with the main guys.
@ArtTakesNote@PointGuardLife8 Sounds like Jokic. I watched teams try to get Boozer switched out on the perimeter too often to think he's a good defender, but he's a very smart defender who plays well within the teams defense if that makes sense. Positive impact overall but scary in close games.
@jayjazz3@TheRealRigelis I feel like 24/4/6 on 46/37/89 is very clearly a building block, is it not? Not "the" building block, but more than a role player
@McCadeP8 He has 29 points on 11-19 shooting, what are we doing here? His best offense is rolling to the rim like Gobert, but he's miles ahead of Gobert offensively.
@McCadeP8 Yeah they should've gone 0-82 and then we could've gotten the 5th pick like the Pistons did. We got a top 5 player in that draft, we didn't get the generational luck the Spurs have.
@ArtTakesNote I think it's best to have tiers of players and then draft best fit out of that tier. I think DP, AJ, and Cam are all in the same tier in this draft, so fit matters more when you have a choice. In other draft classes, there's often a more obvious talent gap
@gggiants Pitching gave up 3 runs. I understand that there's been issues, but it's hard to pin the game on the pitching when two of our most expensive hitters remain below average
If the Cavs lose this series and start moving pieces, the Jazz need to make a push for Sam Merrill. He'd fit like a glove in Hardy's system and the dude plays winning basketball
@danclayt0n Also, does this change the limit on how far a team can drop? Because Utah and Washington had their tanks largely shaped by trying to guarantee that they'd keep their picks
