@AJ3Jazz Zuby is more of a 4/5 in my eyes while CMB is more of a 3/4. I see CMB as more switchable & versatile, but I agree with you, I think Zuby can be an impactful roll player.
From Tim MacMahon today:
“The Jazz have done their due diligence on Darryn Peterson and they would be completely comfortable with him as a part of their franchise.”
In regards to any concerns at Kansas:
“There is nothing there that would prevent the Jazz from drafting him.”
Great @BannedMacMahon interview w/ @spencechecketts. Jazz highlights:
-Jazz value Kessler in the $25M-$30M range, but his camp believe his value is "significantly higher"
-May be challenging for Kessler to find other suitors due to $$
-Most likely scenario is Kessler is back with Utah, but "it's not anything close to a certainty"
-Relationship between Kessler and Jazz may need to be "smoothed over"
-Does not know if Utah is one of the teams that values Boozer over Dybantsa or Peterson
-The Jazz have done their due diligence on Darryn Peterson, "nothing there that would prevent the Jazz from drafting him"

A) The Keyonte hater saying this is hilarious
B) It’s the right take
C) The Jazz and Will Hardy would never, they don’t believe in fully investing in their picks, they make them come along slow.
Sarah Todd predicting Darryn Peterson at the 1 w/ Ace Bailey at 2 and Keyonte George off the bench is very interesting.
A lot of thoughts immediately pop into my head reading that. One is if they consider Keyonte a 6th man going forward that would change a ton of things.
Who are you pulling for in the Finals?
Its got to be Knicks for me. They've never won a ring in my lifetime and guys like @Tjonesonthenba & @MarshallGreen_ deserve it after the years of Hell that team has put them through.
ICYMI - I will add… part of this exercise is to show what it’s like when you have different thinkers in control of decisions. In the draft community we get a lot of group think. Then on draft night people are amazed when one guy goes a lot higher or lower than consensus. Every team has different personnel that should have different thoughts that challenge the others. Take those groups times 30 for the individual teams and that’s how draft night ends up having a lot of variance from consensus.
I know OKC wants to trade #12 & #17 to move up. If they are not successful, but would still like to trade one or both picks, would Jazz fans be interested in getting a second first-rounder (for a future pick(s), I imagine)?
If so, who would be some of your favorite targets?
These things tend to happen more often in eras of fiscal dominance.
They aim for “industrial policy” which means government directive and funding to prioritize certain sectors.
Both major parties are ‘Big Government’ now (that was the Massie battle).
This was a crazzzzy mock! Big names slide! The Jazz pick at 2 may be controversial for some Jazz fans. BYU fans will like the end of the pod if they can stick around til the end. Not how I envisioned the first round going at all! Give it a listen, peeps, & give us your feedback!

The top four picks in the 2026 NBA Draft are viewed as near-locks by many executives:
Wizards: AJ Dybantsa
Jazz: Darryn Peterson
Grizzlies: Cam Boozer
Bulls: Caleb Wilson
Unless a shocking trade comes out of nowhere in the next three weeks, the draft truly begins at No. 5.
