GB has more contagions in the country than any other region w.r.t population. Lack of equipments/PPE/testing kits caused the death of a doctor and paramedic, and 100s of samples awaiting the test results and many asymtomatics are not yet quarantined and tested.

Gilgit-Baltistan is a disputed territory. The political status of the land has very badly effected the different sectors of life. Zero development in human development sectors. Corona has exposed the state priorities in the region.

There are 190+ cases in #GilgitBaltistan and only a testing laboratory in Gilgit region. There isn't any laboratory in Baltistan region to test corona virus. Test samples are sending to Islamabad. We need an immediate laboratory in Skardu.
