There was a guy in our office named Ibrahim.
Every single day, without fail, he left work at exactly 5:01 PM.
Not 5:00 PM.
Not 5:02 PM.
5:01 PM.
At first, everyone joked about it.
“Look, it’s 5:01. Ibrahim is already halfway to the gate.”
People laughed. Managers rolled their eyes. Some colleagues even called him “Mr. 5:01.”
Meanwhile, the rest of us stayed late trying to impress the boss. Some left at 6 PM, others at 7 PM. We thought Ibrahim lacked ambition.
If a vendor posts an iPhone on his status, and types 'IBM', 'IDM, 'ICM', or 'Mint', just know you have to be very careful.
They'll usually not explain to you except you ask.
Such phones are usually cheaper, so you think you're getting a good deal. But what you don't know is that you might be buying a problem.
Those coded expressions are used as a gimmick, since the vendors just assume that you already know the meaning.
The first three mean that the iPhone has issues, while the last one means that the iPhone isn't exactly UK-used.
Specifically...
IBM means Important Battery Message, suggesting that the battery is faulty.
ICM means Important Camera Message: camera problems.
IDM means Important Display Message: screen issues.
As for MINT, although some vendors will disagree....
When certain vendors say an iPhone is MINT, it usually means that it is more like Nigerian-used.
However, note that MINT doesn't necessarily mean the phone is faulty. It just means it was last used by a Nigerian customer. And it's usually cheaper than the ones they call UK-used.
Guys, please retweet for others.

There’s no nation on earth currently blocking Western imperialism (led by the U.S.) and nationalizing its resources that you will visit today and a kg of cooking gas will cost as much as $1.
China is ~$.50
Russia is ~ $0.65
Iran ~ $0.35
Nigerians, with a monthly minimum wage of $50, are paying almost $2 for a kg of cooking gas.
A few weeks ago, these same Nigerians were supporting US military aggression towards Iran, and welcoming US intervention in their own country.
I have never seen this type of thing in my life before.
Same islam in Quran 30:21 (Surah Ar-Rum):
"And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought."
Technically! She's correct according to classical Islamic rulings, the husband is primarily responsible for finances.
But let’s be honest:
When applied with selfishness as she as clearly portrayed, this kind of mindset only turns marriage into a transaction instead of a team.
And no wonder muslim Men married as many wives as they pleases.
—Because where is love,
—Where is mercy,
—Where is mutual support as same Quran teaches.
The best marriages are built on generosity, not strict “my money vs your money.”
A good wife supports her husband when she can.
A good husband provides cheerfully.
Marriage is not a financial contract.
It’s a partnership. 💯👌🏼
I like how some women come out on the media to speak up confidently, beautifully with facts and confirm their stupidity 😭
Yes, Islam has given that room (which is not mandatory but for ease) but wait, let's take for example ... if I have like 5 kids now and my husband is a civil servant (not in any of the big agencies o), with little to no side hustle. And I'm also either a business woman or a civil servant or even both then I'll allow my OWN kids to go to any type of school just because his money is Our Money and my money is MY money? Una dey craze o...
For your information, my money is MY children's money too! With respect and understanding, we both will sit and talk. Get the best school that we both can afford and contribute together to send our children! The type of education you invest in a child is the only tangible asset you have in the future! If you like, allow your husband to struggle just because you don't want to help him and it's YOUR money. Na your kids go suffer see shege for future. E get some kind of school names that even on your CV, they won't employ you 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
-Kakuka Community Primary school
-Sangandale LGA secondary school
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 While your friend who supports her husband have her kids in schools like
-Turkish international School,
-Matrix International School,
- Pen Resource Academy,
- Nile University Primary School,
-White Dove Schools etc
While your kids are struggling to understand 2 x 2.. 4, their kids are already into tech and physics.
While your kids are still learning A is for Apple, their kids speak fluent 3 other international languages offered by the school they attend.
While your kids still use hand fan in class moving around with heat rashes all over their body looking like an infected Agama Lizard, their kids have a consistent skin tone and flourishing beauty....
Your life, your choice but na your kids go see shege for Front ..

General Christopher Musa gave an order: see a bandit, see a terrorist, kill them. No more calling Abuja. No more waiting for permission. Seven days later, he was removed as Chief of Defence Staff.
Seven days.
That removal told you everything about who actually runs Nigeria’s security apparatus. It wasn’t about competence. It was about control. The cabal does not want a general who acts. It wants a general who asks.
Then came the pressure. The Americans noticed and Nigerians noticed. The consensus was rare: bring Musa back, make him Defence Minister, let the man work.
So they brought him back.
And then they called him aside.
The same people who removed him for being too decisive sat him down and explained how things are done. What he must do. What he must not do. And somewhere in that room, the general who once said kill the terrorists became the politician who now manages their optics.
That is the Nigerian security story in full. Every man with fire in him gets called aside. Every policy with teeth gets blunted before it bites. And the cycle continues, counted in bodies.
Musa’s appointment changed nothing because appointments in Nigeria are not about governance. They are about absorption. Find the threat, give it a title, and neutralise it with protocol.
We did not get a Defence Minister. Na cautionary tale we get now. His job is to tell us stories.
In 2021, as chairman Senate committee on works, Senator Kabiru Gaya advised president Buhari to solely award the Kano-Kaduna-Abuja road to Julius Berger construction company. His insistence was out of wisdom, that JB is known for high standards and will build a road that can last 50 years. God bless Kabiru Gaya for that, now that Infiouest Nigeria LTD has completed the 39kms abandoned by JB, we know the difference.
The Zaria-Kano portion of the road constructed by Infiouest has already started twisting, collapsing and even having small craters within three months after completion. The road will not last one year from all indication. Presently from Makarfi to Kwanan Dangora, thr road needs urgent maintenance. If in doubt please take a trip to the road.
The road also has a very huge crater immediately after Kwanar Dawaki before 7up. That road is not more than 30 days old. This is truly sad and I feel pained. This unknown company Infiouest was mentioned by Senator Adams Oshimhole as a furniture company. It is like the owners made the name in a manner that no one can even pronounce it.
This makes Nigerian corruption quite different from the rest of the world. While in a place like Indonesia, politicians will inflate contract, but execute the job to the highest possible standards, Nigerian politicians will virtually steal 90% of the money and build something that will not last more than one year. A road that will not last one year is as good as useless.
From Aliyu Nuhu
During the Buhari administration, I lost my shop when it was demolished for road expansion. I was very angry and felt Buhari had wronged me. While I was struggling, a friend brought me a form to apply for wheat farming support. I filled it out as a joke, without wasting time. After a short wait, I was called and given 3 50kg bags of wheat seeds, 6 bags of Urea fertilizer, 4 bags of NPK fertilizer, a knapsack sprayer, 1 water pumping machine and it's equipments, a carton of herbicide and pesticide, and 2 5liters of liquid fertilizer.
At first, I had no knowledge of farming, but after receiving advice, I went into wheat farming. At that time, I sold the wheat I farmed for nearly 400k. I bought a quarter plot of land in Basawa for 250k, and even then, some people thought I had been cheated.
When @officialABAT came to power, the first thing I had to sacrifice was that plot of land because my maternal grandmother’s business capital collapsed due to Tinubu's bad policies and to settle some debts. Secondly, every year I used to buy my mother a ram worth 100k for Eid al-Adha; since Tinubu took over, I swear by Allah I have stopped because I cannot afford it. Thirdly, since I started my business, I had never experienced a year where I couldn't afford to sew clothes for Eid Wallahi Tallahi Billahi, but under Tinubu's administration, this year I did not sew anything to wear for Eid, not because I didn't want to, but because I couldn't afford it. Fourth, the shop I was able to acquire during Buhari's administration now has no capital, and this month is the final deadline; if I don't pay the rent, I must leave for someone else to take over.
Despite the kind of hardship I am facing, I still hear some fools trying to compare this oppressive administration with the good governance of Buhari, who provided Nigerians with 24-hour electricity, built 'visible' roads and railways in both the South and the North, and boosted agriculture. Where I farmed wheat back then, if you give me money to go today, I swear I will not go because of insecurity. He left power when a liter of petrol was 187, the dollar was 750, cement was 3.5k, and Hajj was 2.5million. In a day, I could sell 10 pairs of shoes or more for 5k each, and on each pair, I would make a profit of 1,500 or 2k. I used to buy a kilo of fish for 1k and meat for 1,200, among other things, easily and cheaply.
I swear by the greatness of Allah, the last time I sold a pair of shoes was on the last day of Ramadan this year, and only recently did I make another sales. How would the business capital not collapse? Ya Allah, the way the Tinubu administration has harmed me, Ya Allah, harm his life in the same way. Ya Allah, for the sake of your greatness and the honor of the holy face of the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Ameen Ya As'Samee'Uddua 🤲
