Stigma around mental health has harmful effects: self-doubt, reluctance to seek help, and lack of understanding. It can lead to bullying and fewer opportunities. Let's work together to break the stigma and create a supportive environment for all.

The 3rd #DontHideMe Free Medical Camp in Wajir was a resounding success!
Together with our partners, we assessed 556 individuals and registered 138 persons with disabilities. Thank you Wajir for embracing the call to serve every child.

After a successful disability awareness campaign and medical camp in Wajir by @SafeSurgicalAid, we made a pledge to stand together, stronger — for children with disabilities, their rights, their dignity, & their future. NEP Leaders made a pledge to leade the #DontHideMe campaign.
The dinner, organized by Safe Surgical Aid, served as both a debrief following the successful disability inclusion drives in Wajir and Garissa, and a strategic planning session for the upcoming campaign rollout in Mandera. Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to making Northern Kenya a model for inclusive development.
Alongside Northern Kenya leaders, I proudly joined the #DontHideMe movement for a get together dinner to champion the rights and dignity of children with disabilities. Together, we are breaking barriers, ending stigma, and pushing for inclusive policies that leave no child behind. ✊💙

We're proud to announce that 97 children have already been registered with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, ensuring they get the support they deserve.
Today marked a major milestone as 132 children with special needs received essential medical attention at the camp organized by our office in collaboration with several government agencies and NGOs at the Garissa school of special needs. @SafeSurgicalAid@TheNCPD
