This is Beirut last night. The complete lack of coverage of these war crimes is part and parcel of the dehumanization of middle eastern, Arab, and Muslim people in the western world.

Bombing civilians in the middle of the night is terrorism. We need to stand up to racism and hold those accountable who continue to manufacture consent and execute these atrocities.

More broadly the acceptance of lies to justify targeting civilians puts all of us and our families at risk as conflicts around the world escalate. Standing up for the people of Lebanon and Palestine is standing up for ourselves and our shared humanity.
