. @Expedia@ExpediaHelp $EXPE My friend booked 17 room nights for our group this weekend in Miami. She booked a few months ago, back during peak season. Since then, prices have dropped over 50% bc it’s low season in Miami now. But we are locked into peak season rates, thus we are overpaying by >100%. We called ONE HOUR after the booking went non-cancellable. We weren’t checking in for another 5 days. Expedia agent said nothing can be done bc the much advertised “price drop guarantee” doesn’t apply bc my friend failed to sign up for a totally free loyalty membership. Why would anyone ever use your service with these conditions? Is your business model based on fleecing people to overpay by thousands of $s over technicalities and have them never use you again? Because if the goal was to swindle a dozen people out of a few thousand dollars and never see them again as customers, you are nailing it!

Hey @Expedia - why would you expect ANYONE to use your services a 2nd time when your customer services is so horrible? Still haven't heard back in over 72 hours... and when I try and call again ??? Still on hold after an hour & 40 minutes. And collect calls? Nope. Tried that too.
