🇾🇪🇸🇦 THE HOUTHIS ARE CLOSING IN ON TAIZ
And Saudi Arabia could be about to lose something much bigger than a city..
Taiz is one of the last major obstacles standing between the Houthis and a much stronger position in southern Yemen.
And right now, it's being slowly strangled.
The Houthis have cut the main road to Aden, captured territory south of the city and sent more than 120,000 people fleeing across the province.
Inside Taiz, food and medicine are running dangerously low. The UN has warned that wheat and flour supplies could run out within weeks.
Nearly 600,000 people live in the city. Many have already survived years of war and siege. Now they're facing it all over again.
Saudi warplanes are bombing Houthi positions, but the government's forces are struggling to stop the advance.
And here's why this matters far beyond Yemen.
If Taiz falls, the Houthis would be in a stronger position to threaten Aden and the approaches to Bab el-Mandeb, one of the world's most important shipping routes.
For Saudi Arabia, losing Taiz could fundamentally change the war it's been fighting for more than a decade.
And for the people trapped inside the city, the clock is already ticking.

These 3.5 seconds did more to fortify American Identity than any establishment politician or political party in the last generation.
100 years of neoliberal rule was vaporized in 3.5 seconds.
Rejoice, we are still America. 🇺🇸
Genuinely the most deluded officer I’ve ever witnessed talking. They just DO NOT GET IT?
Let the officers
Let the politicians
Let the celebrities
Let the lefties
Let the IMMIGRANTS
SEND THEIR KIN TO FIGHT
OURS WILL NEVER FIGHT FOR THIS TRULY CORRUPTED GOVERNMENT AGAIN.
And in the blink of an eye, the government have gone from “we need to reduce the carbon footprint to save the planet" to "we will build mega AI data centres that massively deplete energy and water supplies”.
A huge MRP poll just out - Restore Britain on a record 8%. 10%+ in 180 seats. Absolutely astonishing.
We are now reaching serious levels of support, and it is going to keep growing and growing.
We are going to take our country back.

🎮😂 SONY, HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED JUST TALKING TO GAMERS?
Well, this is getting interesting!
2026 it's shaping up to be one hell of a year! It's a great time to be alive!
The unofficial PS5 game store Overdrive disappeared from GitHub almost as quickly as it appeared. And what happened next? Two more repositories showed up in its place. 🤣
Tom's Hardware describes this as Sony playing a game of whack-a-mole, and I think that's a pretty good description. Every time one disappears, somebody seems ready to put another one up.
Um, Ghidorah comes to mind. If you chop off the head, it comes right back.
Now, I don't condone piracy, and Sony certainly has a legitimate interest in protecting copyrighted games. But there's something else happening here that I think deserves the spotlight..
Gamers see this as a challenge, and if I've learned anything about the gaming community, it's that telling technically minded people something can't be done is a pretty good way to get them to make the impossible happen. 😂
You know, sometimes I wonder how much of Sony's approach is due to cultural differences. Sony is a Japanese company, and business communication, corporate hierarchy, and attitudes toward public criticism can differ between cultures. I don't mean that negatively, and I certainly wouldn't presume to speak for Japanese people. But I do wonder whether those differences play some role in how Sony responds to its customers. Different classes maybe?
From where I'm sitting, there seems to be a remarkably simple solution to at least some of the frustration.
"Talk to the gamers. Listen to what they're telling you." - that's it. Simple right?
Not every gamer wants to pirate games. Some want better backwards compatibility, more control over hardware they've purchased, preservation of older titles, and the freedom to choose between physical and digital games.
Those are conversations worth having.
Instead, we're watching this strange little contest unfold between a multibillion-dollar corporation and a community of people who apparently have a lot of spare time, technical talent, determination, and are seriously pissed off.
Um, Sony, I wouldn't underestimate that combination. 🤣

Christians are being massacred on a daily basis by Islamists in Africa.
Yet there is no left-wing outrage. No Black Lives Matter riots. No Hollywood celebrity speaking out. No protests in European capitals. No Nothing. Their outrage is fake and selective.
The prompt was simple.
“Show me what a Netflix film version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe set in the 1990s would look like.”
Hollywood is cooked.
