π Why trusting CTR sabotages channel growth.
### Advanced lesson based on real data ###
Or why CTR is not a reliable metric to base decisions upon.
-> Lets say one of your videos has a CTR of 3.5%.
Because you know that the average CTR for your channel is 5.9% and the highest for your videos is 9%, you think that 3.5% is "bad".
And you stress out, ask people what they think, brainstorm a new packaging or blame the algorithm.
@Humphreytalks From your capture I also notice that the channel name and the metrics are on the same line, and that there is a triangle in front which could mean "times played" - not sure why they didn't use an eye for the icon. Also keep in mind it's a music video.
@robertoblake You could ask Claude to make a case for the flat Earth and it would convince you.
So I don't believe what AI says about information it never really had access to.
The next MrBeast video will be one of these 3:
β’ Survive 30 Days Trapped Underground, Win $500,000
32min, 130M views
β’ $1 vs $1,000,000,000 Secret Base!
28min, 115M views
β’ Survive 30 Days In A Haunted Hotel, Win $250,000
36min, 148M views
@dabidoYT So it's for people who don't script their video and need a lot of cleanup. But while Descript for example lets you do that manually by text, your tool would do it automatically with retention in mind (so deleting and moving sentences). Right ?
