Dear Palestinians
For more than 120 years, you’ve been trying to get rid of the Jews in the Middle East. To borrow a phrase from Dr. Phil:
“How’s that working out for you?”
Let’s consider the answer.
1/25
🧵 If you're an endurance athlete, you know Saturday is for long training.
On 10/7, junior triathlete Itai (15) was out early training when he was ambushed by Hamas terrorists. They shot him in the head, and he lost his right eye.
This week he was back on the bike 🚴🏻 🇮🇱
"Israeli female soldiers shot in crotch, vagina, breasts on October 7. These women arrived with their eyes open, their mouths grimacing, their fists clenched. This seemed to be a systematic genital mutilation.”
This is how Shari Mendes, the head of the IDF unit preparing deceased female troops for burial, described the horrific scene that she witnessed.
For 20 years in Yemen, I was told that Israel was my enemy—the most devilish country in the world.
That’s why I have decided to visit Israel for the first time next week.
It’s time for me to go there and see for myself. To listen, learn, and understand.
I want to meet ”the devil” with my own eyes.
I want to see for myself the supposed discrimination and hatred towards Arabs and Muslims in Israel that I keep hearing about. I want to speak to the country my culture taught me to hate.
It pains me to know that many friends and even family members will ex-communicate me for this. To them, believing that Israel has the right to exist, or even worse, visiting Israel, is some covert hatred towards Arabs and Muslims.
They couldn’t be more wrong.
I believe that Israel has the right to exist because of how we, Arabs, have treated our Jews for centuries.
Many people spread an ignorant and false narrative about Israel being "a white colonial state," when more than half of the people in Israel are non-white Jews.
Yemeni Jews, Iraqi Jews, Turkish Jews, Ethiopian Jews, etc.
The fact that every Arab Jew fled to Israel says more about us and our hostility towards our Jews than it says about them.
I wish that the Yemeni Jews stayed in Yemen.
But they didn't.
Because we failed them.
Because we hated, persecuted, tortured, and killed them for centuries. And that's why they ran away.
I look forward to visiting the Yemeni Jewish community in Israel.
I want to hear their stories about Yemen. How they feel about living in Israel, why they had to flee. How they feel about Yemen attacking Israel, their thoughts on Israel and the settlements.
I also feel an urge to apologize to them on behalf of Yemen.
Apologizing to them for having failed them...
The content that I will be making in Israel will look different from what I have been making.
I never thought I would be saying these words, but Israel... here I come.
UN officials say, “Yes, 1200 people were massacred by Hamas, but now thousands of Palestinians are killed.”
And you know, that argument was made before—in the Nuremberg trials, by the head of the Einsatzgruppen, the Nazi death squads that moved around Eastern Europe and killed a million Jews and a million others.
When they were brought to justice at Nuremberg, they said, “Yes, we may have done these killings but you, the allies, you killed civilians when you bombed Dresden and other cities.”
And that was wholly rejected by the Nuremberg court.
The notion that this Nazi defendant was trying to make—that the deliberate and purposeful killing of civilians was equal to the taking of civilian lives that is undesired, unintended and unavoidable—was absolutely rejected. Those are completely two different things.
And that is the essence of civilization: to distinguish between those two.
And sadly, at the United Nations, we are seeing this scandalous Dresden defense being brought up again and again, to equate the purposeful, deliberate killing of civilians, which is a crime, with the taking of civilian lives that is undesired, unintended, but unavoidable.
That should be rejected completely.

@replicatius Next time you need Veeam Software support, skip the ticket system and ask ChatGPT instead. Check out this blog post by @replicatius where he breaks down ChatGPT’s answers to complex questions, including log analysis, specific error codes and even regex keys!!!
All in all ChatGPT looks like a powerful and promising tool but I don't think it's ready to sit for it's VMCE yet :p
We may one day see tech like ChatGPT in our tool belts, but it's still no replacement for the know how of IT Pros.
We´re still absorbing all emotions & knowlede gained at #VeeamON in Vegas last week, but can´t go fwd without a HUGE SHOUTOUT to #VeeamVanguard heroes that rocked the stage with @Veeam⭐s & shared their knowledge with audience!👏
