Kindness has a ripple effect. A small gesture can build trust, strengthen relationships, and inspire others to pay it forward. It’s not just about being nice; it’s about making a lasting impact.
After a very long hiatus I’ve found my way back to my podcast. And this episode is really personal as it’s a window into how things were for people like me growing up. Check it out: https://t.co/b8PuLDPZJN
Nobody will understand your physical and mental resources and limitations as much as you do. I’ve seen friendships and relationships ending because of this issue. If people expect more of you because of their own expectations of what a relationship should be, don’t feel guilty. Just try your best. Protect your (mental) health.
Today is my baba‘s birthday. He was a really impressive and courageous man. He reinvented himself a couple of times in his life, and carried himself through many hardships with a lot of grace. After all those years apart I can finally think of him with a lot of appreciation first, and sadness second. It used to be the other way around. He helped me become who I am. He always encouraged me to do better & shaped my personality and belief system just by being a living example of everything I believe in today.
They say his daughter was his weak spot. Little did he know, he was mine.
I miss you terribly. Today and every day.
RIP
الله يرحمك يا ابي
