A nurse writes:
-Testing results are still taking 7 days to result. Sometimes we get lucky and get a result in 3-4 days.
-We are still rationed 20 tests a day.
-We have the equipment for the rapid tests but are waiting on the test kits. No word on or even if we will get any.
Dr. Fauci tells @SavannahGuthrie about the reported threats against him: "I've chosen this life. I know what it is. There are things about it that sometimes are disturbing. But you just focus on the job you have to do. And just put all that other stuff aside."
CNN: 6.6 million people filed claims for unemployment benefits in week ending March 28... highest number of initial claims filed in history, surpassing last week’s 3.3 million claims.
OMG. Jobless claims at 6.6 million. More than double the estimate of 3.1 million analysts expected, which in itself would be horrific. The American job market is in free fall.
Thank you to the governors who are meeting this moment with decisive action, a steady hand, and compassionate leadership. Thank you for stepping up when President Trump has not.
Pence just now on @CNN:
"I don't believe the president has ever belittled the threat of the coronavirus."
Trump earlier:
1/22: “We have it totally under control."
2/10: "We’re in great shape."
2/26: "We’re going down, not up."
3/10: "Just stay calm. It will go away.”

Congratulations to the pundits who lauded Trump's "new and somber tone" 30 minutes ago when he was talking about the 100,000 dead Americans. Now, he's attacking Comey and McCabe (like old times) and criticizing Cuomo for asking for the medical supplies he needs to save lives.
