What a lovely morning Y5 had completing their cushions. It was great to welcome mums, dads and grandparents - many thanks for your help. The children showed fantastic resilience and it was wonderful to see how kindly and patiently they supported each other.
Year 2 had a great time at the park today. We enjoyed a snack and drink in the band stand before playing in the playground. A great treat for a super class!
Very many congratulations to Ella who won the Rotary Art Competition with the theme 'The Year 2050' and to the runners up Grace and Heidi. We are very proud of our creative artists in Year 5.
Our Trust-wide art exhibition is up at All Hallows Catholic College. Year 5 have done us proud with their excellent artwork. This project was all about community, diversity and culture; “Beyond Lies More.” Monochrome portraits and a collaborative pencil drawing of Matthew Henson.
Today is our second Year 5 taster day and we welcome students from St Alban's, Saint Mary's and St John's. They have a packed programme today including volcano making in Geography, solving a mystery in History, coding, Spanish, creating creatures in Art and making pizza!
