@tploft2008 @GrantLavac @rosscoulthart John said that even if he wasn't on duty the day a flight went off course and landed in Melbourne there is no way he would not have heard about it. Even for a "secret" program, the tea room chatter at Mildura Airport's HIBAL station would have been all over it.

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@tploft2008 @GrantLavac @rosscoulthart John Sutcliffe told me that the most southerly HIBAL landing he ever heard of between 1964 and 1967 was one near Charlton, about 290 kms south-east of Mildura, and 250 kms north-west of Westall.

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@tploft2008 @GrantLavac @rosscoulthart ABC TV recently interviewed John Sutcliffe, the last surviving member of the 1966 HIBAL team, who was one of the program's three electronic specialists, and who wrote the book on the HIBAL Program. He doesn't know what was seen at Westall, but he is sure it wasn't a HIBAL flight.

@tploft2008 @GrantLavac @rosscoulthart Thank you for having another look at this.

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@ufouapam Congratulations Andy! I look forward especially to seeing the section on the Westall Incident. Cheers from Canberra, Shane. :)

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@GrantLavac Great to see you making this trip Grant. Prime Minister Harold Holt was personally briefed about this incident (within weeks of it happening) by a close friend who lived nearby and apparently shared Holt's interest in UFOs.

@dwpasulka @LueElizondo Thank you Diana for your ongoing interest in the Westall Incident, and related incidents. Pax, from Shane, in Canberra. https://t.co/IbhVzCnBVR

@claybodytheatre Is there a link to the radio interview on BBC Stoke? I am interested as there was a musical made recently about the 1966 flying saucer incident at Westall in Melbourne, which I am the researcher for. https://t.co/BXcEDEzIRr

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@dwpasulka Diana, six days after your panel, Catholic primary school students in Melbourne will be presenting a musical based on the 1966 Westall UFO Incident. Is this spirituality embracing AI...? BTW welcome to Oz! :) https://t.co/gep6c0MMKg

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@theparis_end The incident actually happened over two schools, not one, namely Westall State School and Westall High School, with people at other nearby schools - and workplaces and houses - witnesses too. :)

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@jamescfox We had some fun in Melbourne in 2017. And the Westall mystery, like so many others, remains.... :)

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@GrantLavac Infamous, though.... ;)

[Shane @SaintWestall]

@GrantLavac Love your positivity and your sense of humour Grant! This has put a skip in my gait! :)

[Shane @SaintWestall]

Well this is very confusing! No wonder I stick to ABC and SBS! 📷 It now seems that episode 4 of "Close Encounters Down Under" - the Westall episode - is airing at 10:35 tonight on 7Mate, directly after episode 3 at 9:35, as well as "premiering" next Thursday. Strange. #westall
