Now that our students and faculty are enjoying their much-deserved Summer Break, we thought we’d highlight some of the beautiful foliage around the School. After all, nothing says summer quite like a (mostly) empty school surrounded by gorgeous trees and blooming flowers!

It’s National Indigenous Peoples Day!

Today, on the summer solstice, we honour and celebrate the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in our community. St. George’s School acknowledges that we are situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam First Nation.

It was another lovely day during ArtsWeek at Saints!

Today, our first guest presenter was @izo_dreamchaser and his team from @afrobeats_van ! Izo is an Afrobeats dance choreographer/dancer who moved from Rwanda to Vancouver.

Frank and Lefranc!

Here is a photo of Frank from Grade 3 being given a team cap by UBC swimmer Jaren Lefranc. Lefranc is off to the 2022 Canadian Swimming Trials this week in Victoria as the #3 seed in the Men's 200m Breaststroke!

They played in the rain, and learned quickly despite the muddy terrain.

Our Grade 8, Grade 9, JV, and 2nd Varsity basketball teams visit Vancouver College tomorrow for the first half of the annual Saints-VC Basketball series!

The Varsity team will play their away game at VC on February 15th.
