Here's what I've learned about the Saints QB situation after some digging the past 24 hours:
• Taysom Hill's status as the heir apparent to Drew Brees is unchanged. He remains Plan A.
• That said, Jameis Winston will compete with him for the starting job when Brees retires.

We have somebody interested and need a co-host
That’s the least of my accomplishments, I take care my family, my children. Gave $1M to The same program that dismissed me, started a foundation that is fairly active & GENUINE. Voted team captain for 3 Different franchises, not teams. I wish my granny was standing on side me.
Taysom Hill on Jameis Winston:
"No surprise there. I think Jameis is a good football player and he's a good quarterback. Nothing has changed for the New Orleans Saints. The goal always has been and I think will always be to win the Super Bowl."
This is the logic as I see it.
Would still 100% rather the guy never made it inside the building but if at the end of this we just flip him like some cheap real estate I can *almost* stomach it.
But not quite.
SAINTS RATIONALE: Sign Jameis as QB2. Groom Taysom all year for post Brees QB1. Groom Tommy to take over for Taysom at gadget. Let Jameis walk at end of season, get a 3rd round comp pick. Use pick for Taysom’s backup. You’re welcome. @NOdotFootball@RossJacksonNOLA@SaintsCSC
So long as nothing happens on Winston until Monday @saints should be clear to dodge this year’s comp pick process and flip him for some minor value next year. In the meantime he can keep a bench nice and warm and maybe learn how to be a better human from one of the best. #9.
@saintsukhub @Saints@FirstAndTen_ Some things are a lot more important than football - that man does not deserve the platform he’s been given and if he ends up as Brees’ successor I’m out, plain and simple. New Orleans deserves better.

So with the Saints draft business pretty much done for 2020, how are we feeling?
24 - G Cesar Ruiz, Michigan
74 - LB Zack Baun, Wisconsin
105 - TE Adam Trautman, Dayton
Time to sit back and relax for day 3!

Ok @saints fans, who are we hoping to see in the black and gold tonight?
Right now we’re next on the clock at 88 but Payton and Loomis are prepared to move up.
OLB and a WR3/wingback are needs. DB depth is an issue and the RB class keeps raising its ugly, ugly head.
Thoughts?
Here’s a question for the @FirstAndTen_ & @NFLUK community - how many teams have drafted their entire starting OL unit?
If Ruiz wins the job, we’re looking at:
LT - Terron Armstead 13/3
LG - Andrus Peat 15/1
C - Erik McCoy 19/2
RG - Cesar Ruiz 20/1
RT - Ryan Ramczyk 17/1

@skinspodcastuk @FirstAndTen_@NFLUK You need to put a public health warning on that front 4.
NFC East offensive linemen have families too. Think of the children!
