Increasingly obvious that the UK let the US use its bases because they thought Iran wouldn't be able to defend itself and didn't know they had missiles capable of reaching us - now we know they do, Iran is being called a "threat" and accused of "lying".

What did you expect? They literally said clearly, multiple times, that they would retaliate in kind to any country aiding the US in attacking them. Why are you shocked they are doing exactly that?
