@quadbonus @GibsHamari @kryptowinston @Anime I’m no audio engineer AT ALL, but after making YouTube videos for 6 years (quit YouTube last year) and putting in heavy editing (fixing audio, adding sfx, etc), in a sense, I can relate. That might not make sense at all, but yeah 😂

A reminder for anime dub hopefuls: CR is not the only dubbing company. Yes, it’s the monopoly and the most widely known, but not the only one. Start researching other dub companies and other outlets. Your journey doesn’t have to end here due to one company’s decision.

However, surely with time, we will be able to invent a method or something to where the audio engineers will only have to do as much work as they would do with an in-person VA
