I once again would like to express my confusion and disappointment with the fact that, despite our species' successful mechanization of agricultural labor and prodigious industrial capacity to provide heretofore unbelievable surplus, we continue to toil our lives away producing and consuming the most trivial of entertainment and detestable schlock, making ourselves sick to death in the process.
We can do so much better.
what we think we want is every photo made ghibli what we really want is a better softer 2cb in the water that makes the world more romantic and beautiful like it should have always been
we need slang for ‘normal and boring’, how about vanilla—a flavor so beautiful, expensive, and rare it’s worth manually pollinating with tiny toothpicks and hand-scraping it from exotic tropical orchids
In the morning if my parts are a little low-agency I’ll put on infrared light glasses while doing jhana meditation. I can do up to J5 now. After I remove the infrared light glasses I use a deep somatic release modality. In the shower I use cold water, then cry out trapped emotion using core feeling phrases.
Then I play Deconstructing Yourself which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use core states with little or no physical tension, because body clenching contracts the mind and makes you suffer. Then focusing, then IFS-inspired somatic inquiry, followed by a final visualization of my ideal parents.
There is an avatar of piti_enjooyer69, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my eager thumbs, and you can see my reply to your tweet and feel the intention through the screen and maybe you can even sense that our timelines are probably comparable, "I" simply am not there.
