Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants data centers in space. Nobody wants humanoid robots or flying cars.
We want clean water. We want a stable climate. We want a habitable planet. We want wildlife to survive. We want to live.
the older i get the more i really dislike people who don’t stand for anything at all, like you don’t have to be an activist but like… nothing?? nothing gets you passionate or caring for others? 😭
sinto que realmente não nasci pra desabafar com ninguém. depois que falo o que estou sentindo, sempre bate um arrependimento e aquela sensação de que eu deveria ter guardado tudo pra mim.
Psychology says some people avoid socializing not because they hate people, but because they can read them too well. They walk into a room and immediately sense the fake laughs, the hidden agendas, the performances. Their nervous system doesn’t misread the signal, it just refuses to ignore it. Small talk feels like a tax they didn’t agree to pay. Forced smiles cost them energy that takes hours to recover.
They’re not broken. They’re calibrated differently. They don’t avoid people. They avoid emotional labor that leads nowhere. When they do connect, it’s deep, intentional, real. No masks. No games. Fewer friends doesn’t mean loneliness. It means higher standards.
That’s not antisocial behavior. That’s emotional intelligence.
Do you ever sit back and realize you're not anybody's favourite person, you're just kinda there and then you get the sudden urge to distance yourself from everyone and chill alone
We think we want sex, it's not always about sex. it's the intimacy we want. To be touched, looked at, admired, smiled at, laugh with someone, feel safe. Feel like someone's really got you. that's what we crave.
Living this life I realised 95% of humans are genuinely selfish and call it terms like 'looking after themselves' , yes i will not care about environment, animals, another person's love as long as I am this consistently adrenaline driven creature. Selfish people are just that.
I don't understand why more people don't find it viscerally awful to live in a world where all text, images, and music are no longer produced by human beings. This is an existential change that causes me sorrow every waking moment.
please be kind. don’t be the reason someone didn't eat today. don’t be the reason someone hates their body. don’t be the reason why someone doesn’t join in on a conversation. don’t be the reason why someone hates themselves. trust me, it sticks with them forever
You guys are vastly underestimating how expensive it is to exist right now. Even gainfully employed people are borrowing money like mad just to get through the month.
I think we’re going to reach a point where the internet is so flooded with AI-generated nonsense that nobody trusts anything anymore. Eventually, people will stop scrolling, stop checking feeds, and start going outside again like it’s the 90s.
