#medhums folk, do check out the newly released book of intrigue and lived experience by Prof. Paul Crawford. It's already in my bucket list for all the good reasons🤓
Excited to get into the intertwined worlds of murder, revenge, trauma, and psychiatry. Prof Crawford's creativity in fiction meets his academic interests and I can't wait for the release of this literary thriller. #Psychiatry#thrillerbooks#medhums
So, it is finally sinking in.
I was officially awarded my PhD in English at the 104th Convocation of Banaras Hindu University. Forever grateful to my alma mater for shaping my career and values through the years.
Looking ahead!
Earlier this month, I had the incredible honour of chairing an intriguing technical session during the International Conference on Stories Matter: (Re)Thinking Narratives, Aesthetics & Human Values organized by the Department of English, BHU (6-7 December 2024).
Nothing matches the exhilarating experience of watching young students find their areas of interest and seek suggestions to explore career options. So glad to see the enthusiasm of such promising literature students.
Recently co-convened the Training and Placement Workshop on Career Pathways in English Language and Literature: Skills, Strategies, and Opportunities at Mahila Mahavidyalaya, BHU (25-30 November 2024).
Such an academically enriching experience for the three days I stayed there. Grateful to the fellow presenters, the organizers, and the illustrious speakers.

Recently, I had the opportunity to present my paper on "Embodied Experience and the Politics of Health" at the International Conference on Whither Integrative Humanities organized by the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
Learned the practical elements of shaping one's online presence as an educator and researcher. My sincerest gratitude to Gwari Sir for his interactive session coupled with anecdotal insights 😊
Thoroughly enjoyed being with some of the brightest minds of the university. They have been selected as Teach For BHU Fellows, one of the university’s very promising initiatives. Discussed various aspects of Social Media, important for enhancing professional profile. #BHU
