Geez, maybe I DO need to start a stealth research co. Tetra is down the road, Turbine X is down the road, and now Stella Energy Solutions is ..... drum roll.... down the road, albeit closer. hmmmm , 1st observation, Stella's website is VERY sparse, although there's a great co . photos with all employees in beards to match their leader. So how do we price THAT in???
Agree OBG, and I have been short , to my demise a bit.
But today I watched a video with a guy Christopher Galizio who explained market - such a high % of passive inverstors/funds that the companies have figured out to intentionally add more shares/even though dilutive. Result the the algorithms of the index funds, etc are forced to buy to keep their % of XYZ at same amount.
It's bizarre but anything in this market could be true.
@x_times_1@jlawrence12345@NateStrande AND, if I remember correctly, you've been blessed with ability to trade options around EOSE. I've softened my blows by selling calls and held on longer be selling puts. This volatility albeit stomach wrenching is an option traders dream home.
@bert_gilfoyle Literally down the road from me, across from high school. I'm not a slueth,....yet. Interesting if these Canadians can adjust to Texas heat and one of the reddest counties in country. ;-)
@LanceBuckets Love to have you back. You're been thru so much and you're so appreciative of your dad and mom's love. I pray the Purdue family will be a lifelong relationship.
@TopherGotWifi Probably envy on my part, but it seems very convenient that those selling straddles back when - by folks probably hedging their 4 bucK buys- were able to get out of calls yesterday and puts today.
@X_RKK_X@MarkGregory1313 So happy for you, God will use you now for others.
Wish my tee shirt were your size to give you,
It says LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. SERVE THEM.
That's your path.
Topher, wish it applied to me as I stated before I still have profits in taxable and losses in IRA s grrrrrr. But if no one is expecting big moves for at least a quarter, wouldn't it be good tax wise to sell now, have losses, buy back after wash sale rule no longer applies, and then have tax loss carryovers for future?
Jonathan, you've always been wise and stable. Thanks for posting . I closed every short call , most at 80% profits, even some '27's. That eased the pain by ablout a 1/3, so now I'm long shares. Somehow I have the rare ability to lose in my IRAs and profit in my taxables. So I'm down for the year and yet paying big estimated taxes for 26. Plus with RMD's required.... grrr the older I get the more they take. But this too shall pass. I still have NO problem sharing about the potential for EOSE business if they just get the manufacturing thru the wringer.
@srvc76 Thanks Jesse for sharing. I was that young daughter long ago. It was my father's friends who became "dads" to me for certain events, etc. I know the mom and daughter do and will appreciate your care.
Today is shopping day. I'm spending gift money on EOSE spreads. When I can buy a May 20-25 spread for .42 it's like Christmas ornaments at 75 % off ! . Just a 10 by 10 costs $420 and has 100 delta, = to 100 shares at $12 why not? The pot. profit of spead is over $4000,
. Will it get there, probable not, but just to 16 and it'll double. Less stress than parking at the mall and fighting the crowds. Merry Christmas !
