U.S. Congressman Ro Khanna said he and his delegation were detained for 75 minutes by armed Israeli settlers during a visit to the village of Zanuta in the occupied West Bank. He said Israeli soldiers who arrived at the scene sided with the settlers instead of protecting them. Khanna added that the visit gave him a firsthand look at the daily reality Palestinians endure, and pledged to continue sharing their testimonies and advocating for their rights.
