When the mongols besieged Baghdad, it was claimed the shia wazir Ibn al-Alqami hated sunnis more than mongols because they harmed his relatives &helped the mongols into the city. If you hate shias so much, you support Israel's strikes, you're Ibn al-Alqami, just the sunni version
The imām today in Jumma'a said to tire yourself in ibāda during this month, this is the month of ibāda. We should leave nothing just because it's nafal or sunna. The reward for the sā'im is with Allāh.
Once when Imām Suyūtī رح shared a dream in which he saw the Prophet ﷺ, he was asked, "How many times have you actually seen the Prophet ﷺ?". He replied, "Alhamdulillah, I have seen the Prophet ﷺ seventy times a state of consciousness, let alone the occasions in my dream".
The maqam of Sayyiduna Bilal رضي الله عنه in Damascus stands as a silent witness to a love beyond words.
What is love?
Love is Bilal distributing the Prophet’s ﷺ wudu water so the companions could wipe their faces with its barakah.
Love is Bilal refusing to give the Adhan after Rasulullah ﷺ passed , he couldn’t say “Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah” without seeing his face.
Love is Bilal leaving Madinah forever because every street reminded him of his absent beloved ﷺ.
Love is Bilal calling the Adhan in conquered Jerusalem, breaking into tears at “Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah” the Sahaba wept with him, hearts torn between victory and longing.
Love is Bilal on his deathbed, smiling through pain: “Tomorrow I meet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions!”
This is love for the Prophet ﷺ. 🤍
May Allah grant us even a drop of it.
Today's lesson was about the foundational aqeeda principles of Imam Tabari.
So far we've covered Abu Hanifa and Tahawi. Still to come are Bukhari and Ash'ari.
Then we will move on to the x rated Mujassima gospels.
I thought matters wrt Nisf al-Shaaban are accepted throughout the 4 maddhabs?
I’ve only seen past scholars discussing the grading of some of the Hadith but I have never seen a scholar completely reject it
There will be Fatiha correction sessions in Ramadan inshaAllah
I expect many of you to come inshaAllah we should all have al Fatiha on point, fiqh students of knowledge should take this opportunity seriously
Stay tuned
Great news for brother & sisters

Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah al-Siddīqah: “If the women who saw Yūsuf (peace be upon him) cut their hands seeing the beauty of Yūsuf, they would have cut their throats if they saw my Yūsuf (Sayyidunā Muḥammad ﷺ).”
[Shamāʾil al-Muḥammadiyyah by Imām al-Tirmidhī]
The ʿUlamāʾ described Prophet Yūsuf's, peace be upon him, face as being 'sweet'. There is only so much that any human can take in of sugar or dessert before they are completed enamored and overcome. People who looked at Nabī Yūsuf's face would be overwhelmed as we saw with women cutting their fingers upon seeing him. Sayyidunā Muḥammad's ﷺ face was described as Malīḥ (مليح). The word salt is called Milḥ in Arabic. We are able to consume more Malīḥ and savoury food than desserts and sweets. So how does this relate to Rasūlullāh's ﷺ face? You can gaze upon him, and gaze upon him, and gaze upon him, but his beauty is such that you will never become satiated or filled by seeing it. The more your eyes look upon him, the more you desire. Imām al-Munāwī also said that the Prophet ﷺ reached the pinnacle of beauty, while Prophet Yūsuf was given only half of that! Nabī Yūsuf was given half of the world’s beauty, a world which Allāh Taʿālā created for the sake of Rasūlullāh ﷺ.
My Lord told me:
﴿كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ (١٩) ﴾ [العَلَق : 19]
That’s how I get close to my Lord

Their Lord told them:
Get close by climbing a lighthouse
Which Lord do you serve?
Blessings are in three things: People, Places and time. Whoever upholds any one them will receive blessings.
“May Allah bless our Rajab our Sha’ban and allow us to reach Ramadan.”
