This is the power of social media. An elderly man went to file a complaint at the Bichhiwara police station (Dungarpur district) in Rajasthan.

There, he met a police constable by the name of Reena Garg, who seemed uninterested in his complaint.

Thereafter, in a bizarre display of unprofessional behaviour, the constable placed both of her feet on the table.

This was done in complete disregard of basic etiquette towards an elderly individual.

Fortunately, someone at that police station took a picture of Reena and posted it on social media.

And the Rajasthan police was forced to take cognisance.

Dungarpur SP Manish Kumar acted swiftly and suspended the disgraced cop.

The police are appointed to serve the public. But this viral image shows how some entitled cops behave when they are supposed to serve the people's interests.

Thanks to social media, even the police cannot escape accountability now!

मदर ऑफ डेमोक्रेसी में ज़मानत के नियम! मार्च-अप्रैल में कुछ मुसलमानों ने बनारस में गंगा में नाव पर बैठकर रोज़ा इफ्तार किया, जिसके बाद आरोप लगाया गया कि आरोपी युवकों ने गंगा में नाव पर बैठकर बिरयानी खाई, और उसकी हड्डियां गंगा में फेंकी। नतीजा यह हुआ कि आरोपी युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया गया। दो महीने बाद इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने उन युवकों को ज़मानत दी।

अब दूसरी घटना देखिए! उसी बनारस में, उसी गंगा में, नाव पर बैठकर भाजपा पार्षद ने बीयर एवं चिकन पार्टी की, वीडियो वायरल हुआ तो आरोपितों की गिरफ्तारी भी हो गई, और 24 घंटे के भीतर ही सभी को ज़मानत भी मिल गई है। मदर ऑफ डेमोक्रेसी में कानून कितना निष्पक्ष है! इतना निष्पक्ष कि उसका पक्ष अंधों को नज़र आ जाता है।

A case involving alleged religious conversion in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli has taken a new turn after serious allegations were made against the police regarding custodial violence.

The case is linked to Ayush Malik, a youth from Dayanand Nagar in Shamli, who allegedly converted from Hinduism to Islam. His family filed a complaint claiming that he was pressured and coerced into conversion and to transfer his property.

Following the complaint, police registered a case against several accused persons.

Arrests in Case and Family Links Explained

Police arrested Islam Qureshi, his daughter Chandni Qureshi, and another accused named Taufiq Qureshi. Chandni is reportedly Ayush Malik’s wife, while Islam Qureshi is his father-in-law.

Several other accused individuals are still absconding, with police saying they may be linked to different states including Delhi, Mumbai, and Saharanpur.
