One of the funniest things about the World Cup/Olympics/whatever is how Australia truly believes they have like a massive bitter sports rivalry with the United States and Americans have zero awareness of this
@jase1129 i did the math last night on my drive home from work, if you copy paste the last 59 games and then tack on a 30-14 for the last 44 that’s 110 wins…
making the red sox and braves play each other when the red sox 100% should play the yankees and braves 100% should play the mets is definitely a choice
Before I turned 17, I never knew another Braves manager.
Watching him go ballistic on an umpire was every bit as thrilling as a Smoltz strikeout, a Chipper homer or an Andruw robbery. I’ll always cherish being in the stands for his final game in 2010.
Rest In Peace, Skip.
you don’t realize how scary the avg CF arm can be until they make a football-field-long throw within a couple of feet of accuracy while attempting to deke a runner
I’m way late…
But this is some pretty fun baseball IQ from Drew Gilbert in center. He caught the ball as low as *physically possible* to try and get the runner to leave a hair early
(then he unleashed a throw that didn’t need a bounce LOL)
With Fuentes up and the others pushed back the Braves are currently using a 6-man rotation. Does that mean they get an extra roster spot for a reliever so they can have full 8-man bullpen tonight?
No?
Only the Dodgers get to do that?
Cool.
