Representing Salford & supporting @AndyBurnhamGM in GM continues to be the most rewarding experience in my life.
Can I thank the people of Salford who continue to put their trust & faith in me & @SalfordLabour.
We will do all we can to “Get Things Done: The Salford Way”🗳️🌹✊🏻❤️
@1985Deanne I know you love our VCFSE sector Deanne, like myself you’ve been a consistent & long-standing supporter, thank you! My comment wasn’t directed at you, I’d previously told colleagues I was on with making sure the difference went to our VCFSE sector but saying this wasn’t enough!😞
@1985Deanne Thanks Deanne, it was never not going to be done, supporting our voluntary, community, faith & social enterprise organisations is something I’ve consistently done as Salford’s Mayor! Politicising my commitment to our VCFSE sector (our superpower!) is misplaced in my opinion!
Picking up casework and spreading news of all the hard work our amazing Labour councillors are doing to deliver a fairer, greener, healthier Salford. 🌱
I joined Ordsall Labour comrades on a sunny Sunday morning to speak to local residents and see how their local representatives can help them. 🌹
It was great to see Salford Labour teams out all across the city this weekend...
I look forward to working with the Prime Minister, with Mayor Bev Craig and with my Labour colleagues here in Salford to deliver a cleaner, fairer, healthier city for all our residents.
At our Full Council today I spoke about the opportunities the new Labour government gives us here in Salford.
We know that only Labour will deliver for working people, and we have seen this in Greater Manchester over the past decade...
With former Mayor Andy Burnham working with Labour leaders across the city-region to tackle the housing crisis, improve public transport & drive inclusive economic growth
With No10 North signalling a new era of devolution & a genuine commitment to tackling regional inequality...
My thanks to everyone who took the time to join the campaign meeting organised by Save Swinton Park Golf Club last night.
Salford Labour have been clear on this issue all along - any decisions on the future of this site need to be taken with the residents views at the very heart
Thank you to START and everyone involved in organising such a thoughtful evening. The compassion, courage and sense of community on display was a powerful reminder of what makes Salford special.
It is always incredibly important to me to attend this event and stand in solidarity alongside those whose lives have been affected by suicide. It was touching to see so many people come together in remembrance, support and hope.
A great step forward in supporting and showcasing the incredible creative talent that makes Salford such a vibrant place. 👏
