The 12th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at HQWNC on 21 Jun 26 for Civilian Defence Employees. The event was conducted in coordination with yoga professionals from Kaivalyadhama, Shri Deepak Binjola and Shri Viraj Nayan Dhotre. CCPO, along with approximately 80 civilian personnel, participated with great enthusiasm, embracing this year’s theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”, and promoting the spirit of fitness, mindfulness, and holistic well-being. #InternationalDayOfYoga2026 #YogaForHealthyAgeing

A comprehensive 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐃𝐏𝐂) 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 was successfully conducted today at INS Tanaji. The event was inaugurated by Commodore Saurabh Agrawal, Cmde (CP)-II from #NavalHeadquarters, who delivered an inspiring opening address. In his speech, he also apprised the forum about various initiatives being undertaken by #DCP as part of the #YearOfNavalCivilians.

The workshop featured insightful sessions by distinguished speakers, including Shri T Hussain, CAO, Shri Deepak Kumar Gupta, JD from NHQ/DCP, and Shri Ranjith Paithara, AO-I from HQANC. These sessions comprehensively covered all aspects of the #DPC processes, providing participants with valuable knowledge and best practices.

The welcome address was delivered by Shri L Robertson Singh, CCPO, #HQWNC. Captain Rahul Gautam, officiating Commanding Officer, INS Tanaji, felicitated all the speakers. All administrative arrangements for the workshop were handled efficiently by INS Tanaji.

The workshop was well-received by over 80 participants from various units across the Navy, as evident from the engaging Q&A session.

The lecture aimed to equip student officers for their enhanced roles in managing the Civilian Workforce of #IndianNavy, providing them with knowledge of CCS Rules and various administrative procedures.
