I MISS MY PUPPY!!!!!

[Jasmyne Cannick @Jasmyne]

True story.

So a father was asleep at home with his two kids, 1 & 3, when the police bust in the door around 4:30 a.m. Dad fires one shot at the door because he wakes up and just sees a guy in his house. Realizes after he shoots that it's a cop and puts the gun down.

Wanna radically improve #mentalhealth? Give people housing. End poverty. Promote food security. Be anti-racist. Fund harm reduction. Offer workers paid sick days. Provide equitable healthcare (especially mental healthcare) to all...Equity IS mental health. 🙏🏽

I hate anxiety lol I just texted the girl I have a crush on “you’re pretty” and then immediately googled “is it weird to call someone pretty"

[Jenny @f4tcgf]

@Airbnb @AirbnbHelp AIRBNB this is NOT OKAY!! My friends booked a place in MTL for a week and their host left them completely stranded. They have no place to stay and Airbnb won’t help them either. People deserve security in their accommodations!!!!

A third school found the remains of Native children buried under their school.

Think about that. Hundreds of bodies of children are being found. That’d be massive news if it wasn’t Native kids. Where is the outrage? Where is the support? Why doesn’t anyone care?

I'm a residential school survivor, spent 8 years in there, i honour the memory of the 215 who never made it home. <3

[HammockBannock @BannockHammock]

1996. That’s when the last residential school closed

I graduated in 1995 from one of them.

Don’t tell me or anyone else that this was a long time ago.

men be like “i like u” and then do nothing to make u feel liked

[ibrahim @ennolesh]

israel has killed more people in gaza the past 24 hours than hamas rockets have killed in the past 20 years.

[Friendly Neighborhood Comrade @SpiritofLenin]

This will always remain relevant.

[Shelby Weaver @ShelbyWeaver]

I understand that shutting down golf is just yet another government restriction that makes no sense, but if you’re biggest source of outrage during this pandemic is the inability to golf, best believe that’s privilege.

[Syeda Abiha @Abihamessam]

Israel is killing innocent peoples of palestine.

You haven’t experienced real pain until you’ve tried to give yourself a Brazilian wax

I'm currently studying for my Canadian citizenship test (don't even get me started), but I think Canadians really need to know the kinds of rhetoric shared with newcomers. The section on residential schools is a paragraph long and describes them as "schools to educate".🧵
