The health condition of 2-and-a-half-year-old Hashem Abu Mustafa has significantly deteriorated. He suffers from severe malnutrition, muscle weakness and flaccidity, poor head control, feeding difficulties, delayed weight gain, and an enlarged head circumference. Doctors suspect a congenital myopathy. He also experienced severe seizures following a high fever.
Hashem urgently requires advanced metabolic and genetic testing, as well as specialized treatment outside the Gaza Strip. His family is appealing to the relevant authorities to facilitate his evacuation and save his life before it is too late.
