Your Highness, I am Javed Ahmad Beigh, an Indian Koshur speaking Kashmiri Ithna Ashari Shia Muslim from India's Kashmir Valley and part of Kashmir Valley's 1.5 million Ithna Ashari Shia Muslim community.

I am very happy that Your Highness will be visiting Nizari Shia Ismaili Muslim communities of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan (PoGB) your first visit to PoGB, after succeeding as the Vth Imam of Nizari Imamate.

Your Highness, I originally belong to "Beigh"/"Beig" tribal clan of Ishkoman Valley of Ghizer district of PoGB.

My forefathers were Burushaski speaking Nizari Shia Ismaili Brusho people, who left Ishkoman Valley and settled in present day Kashmir Valley of India centuries ago in search for better economic opportunities. Once in Kashmir Valley, the Burushaski speaking Nizari Shia Ismaili Brusho community mixed with ethnic Koshur speaking Kashmiri Ithna Ashari Shia Muslim community and got absorbed in the larger Kashmiri Shia Muslim community, which numbers over 1.5 Muslims and comprise of about 15% to 20% of total Kashmiri Muslim population.

Your Highness will be surprised to know that there is still a small tight knit Indian Burushaski speaking Indian Brusho Muslim community living in Srinagar city, the summer Capital of Kashmir Valley, who also now practices Ithna Ashari Shia Islam.

Even though, my forefathers came to India's Kashmir Valley many centuries ago, we, the "Beighs" of India's Kashmir Valley are very well aware of our Nizari Ismaili/Burushaski/Ishkomani & Central Asian roots.

We, the "Beighs" of India's Kashmir Valley have grown up hearing stories and anecdotes of historical Nizari Ismaili culture of Central Asian "Ismaili Beighs", which are passed across generations amongst Indian Kashmiri Ithna Ashari Shia Muslim families of "Beigh" clan.

Even as rest of Kashmiri Muslims haven't even heard of terms like Chitral, Wakhi, Burushaski and Khowari, we the Ithna Ashari "Beighs" of India's Kashmir Valley know about every Central Asian Nizari Ismaili communities (Wakhis of PoGB, Gorno Badakshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan, Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan and Xinjiang province of China; Khowari speaking Kho people of Chitral & Burushaski speaking Brusho people of PoGB).

And as someone, who shares such deep and personal connection with both Nizari Shia Ismaili community as well as with the region of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan or PoGB, which is part of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), an Indian territory under illegal occupation of the state of Pakistan since 1947, I am very distressed by the miserable and pathetic condition of Wakhi, Burushaski and Khowari Nizari Ismaili communities of Chitral and PoGB, who are subjected to both sectarian killings by Pakistani Sunni Muslim extremist terrorist organizations as well as tormented and oppressed by the "deep state" of Pakistan.

Your Highness, will be visiting the state of Pakistan for the first time since you're succeeding as AGA KHAN-V and accepting religious leadership of the Nizari Ismaili community of the world.

As an Indian Kashmiri Ithna Ashari Shia Muslim and someone with ancestral roots in Nizari Ismaili community of PoK, I want to draw your kind attention to the continuous and unending sectarian violent attacks on Khowari Chitrali Nizari Ismaili Shia Muslim community of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province as well as persecution of Nizari Ismaili political activists from Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan or PoGB by the Punjabi Muslim dominated "deep state" ( Pakistani Army and Pakistani ISI) of Pakistan.
