Bottom is in? Lol.
The FED doesn't give a SHIT about the crypto markets.
They care about the equities, bond and real estate markets.
Which by all reading are doing "okay".
They are going to push till those have an FTX event.
This is nothing. Wait till real money capitulates.
Gather wealth and passports my degens. If you don't have freedom to choose where you live and a wide choice in the laws & culture you live by...
You don't have freedom.
If your not a pro trader there’s literally nothing to do in this market till the FED runs us off a cliff into a debt crisis.
Just go get drunk for a month or two.
An update of my rough heuristic for SPX fv using GS 2023 EPS of 224 and 4.32 30 yr yield current equity fair value is now at a new low for this measure. 3180-3380 range of fair value. Equities are super rich relative to bonds, risk premiums, and GS eps outlook #SPX
Brief reminder that starting later this wk, the US Treasury will join forces with the Fed in waging war on your portfolio
Stated plans call for a combined ~$350 billion of net liquidity removal over the next 8 weeks
An amount typically good for wiping ~300-400pts off the S&P
Republicans are probably going to win big tomorrow and it will likely cause a solid pump.
I'll probably be taking the pump/exiting to retreat to my end of the world positions of stables/gold/etc.
Left media is 100% going to revenge tank the markets to our final lows.
If you think China can’t go to 0, look back couple decades. IT DID, for the same reason… Xi’s communist ideology is now making the same mistake. Notice how Russia went to 0 too, due to communism. NEVER INVEST IN A COMMUNIST COUNTRY.
The pivotal moment in #Fed press conference:
When (incorrectly) told the market had reacted positively, Jerome Powell seems frustrated and lists ONLY reasons why this is the wrong interpretation.
Very telling for #stocks.
$QQQ $SPY #macro#inflation
This is ridiculous.
Reminder, members of the Federal Reserve traded stocks that the Fed was buying in 2021 at the very bottom of the market, before the bull rally.
This is where they sold - at the very market top - before the Fed raised rates and were cleared of wrongdoing.
The Fed wants the economy to collapse and it hasn’t, gives them full green light to continue at a fast pace. Don’t overcomplicate it. They have no chips in the game, they dgaf if stocks go down.
Gundlach:
“Tax loss selling is the biggest risk to the market going into year end. I believe this is the biggest tax loss selling opportunity in 2 generations”
$AAPL mkt cap = $GOOG+$AMZN+$META. Can someone pls explain how this makes any sense ? Do people think a recession will mean people dont buy from amzn, advertise on FB or GOOG but will gladly buy overpriced $1000 iPhones with a slightly better camera?
During the extremely painful period of the U.S. Great Inflation 1965-1985 due to horrific monetary policy, the Dow Jones dropped roughly 73% from about 9,000 to 2500. But, today there is a far more egregious asset bubble and ludicrous debt levels.
